The passion for matching great New Zealand produce with Wild Earth's world class wines has long been a part of the Wild Earth ethos. For many years Quintin and his family have played host to friends s at his Felton Road vineyard, serving wild game and prime New Zealand food in a quintessentially Central Otago riverside setting. The launch of the Wild Earth Outdoor Kitchen & Cellar Door is the realisation of a dream and finally allows Quintin to share two of his greatest passions with the world.

Our Wines

Like no other restaurant you have ever experienced, the Wild Earth menu is cooked entirely on Quintin' s unique Wine Barrel Cooker.  Each recipe has been crafted by Quintin and carefully selected to match Wild Earth's premium quality wines. Choose from Lamb, Venison, Chicken, Mussels, Salmon or Eggplant, all cooked in retired Pinot Noir Wine Barrels. Select to enjoy the recommended wine match to enhance the mouthwatering flavours even further. Combine this with a stunning location nestled on the edge of the Kawarau Gorge and a welcoming atmosphere and we guarantee lunch with Wild Earth will be both satisfying and memorable.
